OCTOBER 2017, AMSTERDAM, NL

WHILE INTERROGATING THE TWINS EXTRACTED FROM A SECLUDED BUILDING IN KAWASAKI, JAPAN, WE DISCOVERED THE EXISTENCE OF FURTHER PREPARED TRANSMISSIONS HIDDEN WITHIN THEIR MAINFRAME COMPUTER. SATOSHI AND MAKOTO EXPLAINED THEIR INTENTION TO BROADCAST THESE ON THEIR USUAL SHORT WAVE RADIO FREQUENCY.

WE IMMEDIATELY DISPATCHED AGENTS TO EXTRACT THE MATERIAL AND BRING IT TO OUR BUNKER FOR ANALYSIS. UNLIKE THEIR PREVIOUS RECORDINGS, WHICH WE PREVIOUSLY MADE AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC UNDER THE TITLE “ST006”, THESE TWO “FUTURE TRANSMISSIONS” FEATURED REPETITIVE BEATS DESIGNED TO MAKE UNWITTING LISTENERS DANCE ENTHUSIASTICALLY.

UNDER QUESTIONING, THE TWINS CONFIRMED THAT THESE TWO PIECES HAD BEEN COMPOSED USING THEIR FAVOURED SYNTHESIZER, THE CASIO CORPORATION MANUFACTURED CZ-5000. AUDIO EVIDENCE CAN BE FOUND ON BOTH RECORDINGS OF THEIR USUAL MELODIOUS AND COLOURFUL APPROACH.

THE FIRST FUTURE TRANSMISSION (FILE NAME “ST007-A”) CONTAINED CYCLICAL ELECTRONIC MOTIFS THAT WE TENTATIVELY DESCRIBE AS “POSITIVE” AND “KALEIDOSCOPIC”. THERE WERE ALSO JAUNTY FLOURISHES THAT OFFSET THE HEAVINESS OF THE PERCUSSIVE ELEMENTS BENEATH, WHICH THEY SAID HAD BEEN INSPIRED BY “EARLY JAPANESE TECHNO”.

THE SECOND SLATED TRANSMISSION (FILE NAME “ST007-B”) WAS SLIGHTLY DEEPER IN TONE, WITH PSYCHEDELIC AND OTHERWORLDLY ELEMENTS HIGH IN THE MIX. THE SPACEY AND INTERGALACTIC SOUNDS WERE CONSISTENT WITH THE SUBJECTS’ PRODUCTION, BUT ALSO BORE THE AURAL TRADEMARKS OF SIMILAR TRANSMISSIONS EMINATING IN THE MOTOR CITY OF DETROIT AT THE TAIL END OF THE 1980S.

WE HAVE PREPARED THESE TRANSMISSIONS FOR PUBLIC RELEASE. THEY WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE BY THE SAFE TRIP ORGANISATION UNDER THE CODE NAME “ST007” SOMETIME IN EARLY 2018.
